As an avid gardener, I began to discover the insect repelling properties of a diverse array of herbs. My chief focus is upon non-toxic, deet-free agents that may be used safely to repel mosquitoes, and most other nuisance insects. I am also a student of nontoxic controls for agricultural insect pests as well. This interest is born out of my earlier career in sale and trading of agricultural grain commodities and futures. I am currently a teacher of general mathematics, and algebra.
